It takes energy and dedication to leave a lasting positive impact in the countries where the IPVS conferences occur. As the global expert on the human papillomavirus (HPV), IPVS strives to raise public awareness of HPV and to stimulate HPV vaccination in settings where opportunity exists to improve the level of understanding of the virus and increase vaccination uptake to prevent HPV-related cancer.
Thanks to the dedication of a passionate group of local IPVS members in Scotland and outstanding support from the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), IPVC 2024 in Edinburgh last November has done just that in the form of multiple initiatives with potential for lasting value and continued growth.
