With advancements over the past decades, we have gained clarity on many facets of HPV infection, paving the way for effective diagnostic and preventive measures against HPV-related diseases. In this webinar, we aim to explore the remaining gaps in our understanding of HPV and offer guidance to early career researchers looking to contribute to HPV-related research efforts.

WEBINAR OBJECTIVES

  1. Identify which are the gaps in the scientific knowledge regarding HPV carcinogenesis at various anatomical sites.
  2. Compare the natural history of HPV depending on their oncogenic potential and/or the site of HPV infection.
  3. Consider the latest and ongoing research on tailored treatments for precancer or cancer.
  4. Integrate the HPV new data in the patient’s reproductive consultation.
  5. Assess gaps in implementation strategies for cervical cancer elimination.
  6. Identify the future of screening for extra-genital HPV -related diseases.
