IPVS membership for year 2026 is now available.
Since its foundation, the International Papillomavirus Society (IPVS) has been dedicated to advancing research on human papillomaviruses and their associated diseases, while ensuring that scientific discoveries are translated into impactful clinical applications and public health policies. From September 9, 2025, IPVS introduces a modest change in membership fees. This change will allow our not-for-profit organization to sustain and expand the valuable benefits we provide to our global community. The new fees for the 2026 membership year can be viewed here.
The decision to increase fees was guided by the following considerations:
- Membership fees help sustain IPVS’s high-quality educational content, drive HPV awareness efforts, and support policy development.
- Fees have remained unchanged since 2016 and the associated costs have steadily increased, making a review necessary.
- The decision follows an extensive review involving the Membership Committee, IPVS Board, and IPVS country ambassadors, to support a thoughtful and inclusive process.
- The increase allows IPVS to continue subsidizing membership for students, early career researchers, and members in low and lower-middle income countries, which is essential to maintaining inclusivity and strengthening our global community.
Please also note that a further modest increase in the fees is anticipated in 2027. We considered that a gradual adjustment would minimize the impact for our members.
From September 9, 2025 onwards, new members have their membership valid until December 31, 2026. We encourage you to register to IPVS 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand (October 23-26, 2025) through the discounted package which includes both IPVS membership and conference registration. You will benefit from discounts for both and will pay less than the regular non-member rate.
