Dr. Essoh is the Director of Agence de Medecine Preventive Afrique (AMP Afrique), a sub-Saharan Public African Health Organization specializing in vaccine clinical development. She has served 12 years as an International Program Lead and Senior Research Manager (Europe & Africa) for major vaccine manufacturers including Sanofi Pasteur and GlaxoSmithKline.

Dr. Essoh is a member of the GAVI subgroup on the HPV vaccine, GAVI Independent Review Committee (IRC), and the National Immunization Technical Advisory Groups (NITAG), and Co-Chair of the WHO Regional Technical Working Group on Immunization for West and Central African countries.
