Asia Pacific HPV Coalition and Kirby Institute, University of New South Wales
Mandi Lee, B.A., M.Sc. (she/her) is a Research Coordinator with the Asia Pacific HPV Coalition and the Kirby Institute, University of New South Wales. Her recent work includes examining cervical cancer screening programmes implemented in low and middle-income countries (LMICs), and a regional stakeholder perspective study across LMICs in Asia to identify system-level barriers and opportunities.
In Singapore, she contributed to the national cervical screening guideline updates in 2024 as part of the guideline review group. She also co-created Singapore’s first community-based cervical screening initiative using self-sampling HPV tests through a youth ground-up initiative, the Alliance for Active Action Against HPV (A4HPV). This initiative complements the national screening programme by reaching underscreeners in community spaces where women live and gather.
As part of the Asia working group of the IPVS Awareness Campaign Committee, she aims to amplify youth voices in HPV awareness efforts.
