CommitteeRole: The IPVS Awareness Campaign Committee exists to increase public awareness and understanding of HPV throughout the world, communicating factually and effectively about HPV as widely as possible to inspire people to take action to protect their health from HPV-related disease. Raising public awareness about HPV is a core activity of the International Papillomavirus Society.
The coordination of the International HPV Awareness Campaign, a global initiative to raise public awareness and understanding about the human papillomavirus, is the central activity the committee undertakes to realize this purpose. March 4th is International HPV Awareness Day, the annual highlight of ongoing effort throughout the year to increase knowledge and awareness of HPV as a first step toward eliminating HPV-related diseases.
This committee is open to IPVS members
