Paula Peremiquel-Trillas is a medical doctor (2014) specialized in Preventive Medicine and Public Health (2019). Since 2019, she has been working at the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) in Barcelona, Spain, where she coordinates the Cervical Cancer Screening Technical Office.
Her recent research has focused primarily on the implementation of cervical cancer screening, combining both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. She has also led efforts in the evaluation and monitoring of the self-sampling, HPV-based cervical cancer screening program in Catalonia.
In addition to her work at ICO, she is an associate professor at the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Barcelona and serves as a scientific editor at HPV World Journal (hpvworld.com).
She is strongly committed to improving access to HPV prevention through effective communication and education.
