Caroline Walker is a PhD student at the University of Cambridge. She works with Professor John Doorbar, with a research focus on cross-disciplinary collaborations and educational resource development for basic scientific understanding.

Her doctoral work focusses on developing novel educational tools to help improve understanding surrounding HPV disease biology, diagnostic techniques, and prophylactic vaccination amongst professional groups. She is exploring this through developing a visual intervention that will quickly educate by disseminating research advances for diagnosing different HPV types and understanding the complexities within the cervical transformation zone.

Ms. Walker is the recipient of a Cambridge Trust International Fellowship to complete her doctoral studies. Previously, she was recipient of funding from Hologic Inc. to develop educational animations for HPV testing awareness.

Caroline is highly motivated to contribute to the dynamic Educational Committee at IPVS. Furthermore, she is interested in increasing awareness and dialogue about HPV related diseases amongst healthcare professionals and the public.
