Mission

The IPVS Early Career Researchers Committee supports the professional growth, visibility, and active engagement of Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in papillomavirus research. Its mission is to ensure that ECR voices are meaningfully integrated into society activities and opportunities.

Committee Goals

  • Represent the interests and perspectives of ECRs within IPVS

  • Advise on strategies that enhance ECR professional development

  • Promote peer support, networking, and meaningful interaction among members

  • Increase global awareness of IPVS opportunities and resources for ECRs

  • Support recognition of ECR achievements and scientific contributions

Activities

The Committee leads initiatives that foster early-career engagement and development within IPVS. Key activities include organizing Early Career Workshops that provide skill-building and professional guidance and overseeing Early Career Research Training and Early Career Recognition Awards designed to support the next generation of leaders in papillomavirus-related research.

How to get involved?

IPVS members are encouraged to participate in committee-led activities and contribute ideas for future initiatives. Committee membership is term-based, and openings arise periodically. When positions become available, a call for applications will be shared with all members.
